  • Holy Cross Wrestling Brings Home Four Individual State Champions
    • The Holy Cross Wrestling team traveled to Shreveport/Bossier City this weekend to compete against 28 Division I teams in the 2019 LHSAA State Wrestling Tournament.  Holy Cross ended with 12 wrestlers standing on the podium including 4 State Champions– Senior Caden Mumme (182 lbs), senior Cameron Frost (170 lbs), and freshman twins Evan (106 lbs) and Jacob (113 lbs) Frost..
  • Holy Cross Seniors Named National Merit Finalists
    • Two Holy Cross School seniors have been named Finalists in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program.
    • Cade Martin, son of Sean and Jenna Martin (Class of 1992), and Blake Ziegler, son of Melvin and Rebecca Ziegler (Class of 1977), have both been named National Merit Finalists. These academically talented high school seniors are among approximately 15,000 Finalists in the 64th annual National Merit Scholarship Program, and they will now have the opportunity to compete for one of 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $31 million that will be offered this spring.

  • Holy Cross Campus Minister Commissioned as Lay Ecclesial Minister
    • Holy Cross campus minister and high school theology teacher Mr. Adrian Jackson ’00 was commissioned by Archbishop Gregory Aymond as a Lay Ecclesial Minister for the Archdiocese of New Orleans at St. Louis Cathedral.
    • Mr. Jackson underwent two and half years of spiritual direction, graduate courses in theology, retreats, days of formation, and a supervised practicum project.
  • 5th-12th Grade Parent-Teacher Conferences, March 12
    • Our 5th through 12th grade parent-teacher conferences will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. Online registration for conferences will be available soon, and an email will be sent out in advance with a link for parents to sign up for time slots.
  • City Park Night, March 23
    • Wristbands for Holy Cross City Park Night may be purchased either through your SMART Tuition account for $15/each or at the gate on the night of the event for $20. If you purchase your wristbands online, you will receive a confirmation email and the wristbands will be distributed to the students the week of the event.
  • Band Marching Mardi Gras Parades
    • Our Tiger Band will be marching in several Mardi Gras Parades. We hope you will get a chance to come out and see them perform.
      • Krewe of Pygmalion – Saturday, February 23
      • King Arthur Parade – Sunday, February 24
      • Krewe of Hermes – Friday, March 1
      • Krewe of Thoth – Sunday, March 3
  • HC Basketball update  
    • Senior Guard Kalil Thomas is named as one of the Top uncommitted Guards in the state. Somebody is going to get a GREAT player!
    • Last District game of the season was Friday at Shaw. With a WIN, the Tigers will secure 1st place in District.
  • Soccer update
    • #1 Holy Cross defeats #9 Benton, 3-1 on the road and advances to the semis; Tigers will take on #4 Beau Chene, at HC 6pm Sat night Taking on the team they beat last year to win the State’
